Guide 02 / Bundle
Design a POD plus download bundle that makes sense.
The physical and digital items should solve the same community job. A random printable added to a shirt is not a bundle strategy.
Planning guide only. Confirm current platform, tax, license, refund, and delivery terms before selling.
Start from one shared job
Choose a physical item that expresses identity and a digital item that helps the same person plan, share, gift, or personalize the moment. Examples include a community shirt with matching phone wallpapers, or a milestone mug with printable gift cards.
Avoid digital files that contain patient, customer, employee, or other sensitive personal data. Do not imply professional approval merely because the audience is a profession.
Model the real cost
For the physical item, include base cost, print placement, packaging, shipping, platform fees, payment fees, refunds, replacements, tax, and a sample order. For the digital item, include design time, licenses, platform fees, support, revisions, and tax handling.
Compare costs against the current official platform pages. A free plan can still carry per-sale fees, and a lower base price can shift work into provider selection and quality control.
Define delivery and support
State file formats, dimensions, software requirements, print settings, personal-use or commercial-use rights, update policy, and how a buyer receives replacement files. Keep those terms visible before checkout.
Separate physical shipping and return expectations from digital-delivery and refund terms. The selling platform and applicable law may impose additional requirements.
Pilot one bundle
Launch one physical SKU, one digital companion, and one clear bundle saving. Measure which item creates interest, which creates margin, and which creates support work.
Retire the bundle if the two items attract different audiences or if the digital item exists only to make the offer look larger.
